A Jacob's Join Hunger Action Event includes:
Musicians and other artists in each location become part of the Jacob's Join . In other words, a congregation's praise band or a campus ministry group perform together WITH Bryan some of the songs, hymns, spirituals of ...until all are fed. This means some practice ahead of time, but that brings more people participating in the event.
What are the costs of hosting a Jacob's Join?
A deposit of $250 when booking your event and another $250 one month prior to event.
A Jacob’s Join raises funds to help active participation in hunger action by addressing public policy issues through Bread for the World.
The goal is $10 per person via one (or more) of the following:
- mission offering;
- simple meal;
- art auction/contest;
- sponsorships from local businesses or congregation members;
- ticket fee for the event/s;
- _____________________
Funds raised are expected to be received by Jacob’s Join fifteen days after the event. Fundraising is equally distributed between:
- local feeding agency/agencies;
- Bread for the World; and
- Jacob's Join.
